Edition Cosmetics Return Policy

I. Introduction

At Edition Cosmetics, we are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with our products. However, due to the nature of our cosmetic goods, certain conditions apply to returns and refunds. Please carefully review the following guidelines.


II. Return Options

We provide three options for returns:

Damaged Goods

  • If an item arrives damaged, we will offer an exchange.
  • The damaged item must be returned to us. Once we inspect and confirm the damage, a replacement item will be sent out, subject to stock availability.
  • If you receive a damaged item, please contact us at hello@editioncosmetics.com within 24 hours of product arrival on tracking delivery to raise a claim. Any claims outside this period will unfortunately not be considered.

 

Refund for Unopened/Unused Goods

  • We accept returns for items that are unopened, unused, and in their original packaging.
  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of of product arrival on tracking delivery by contacting us at hello@editioncosmetics.com.
  • If you are returning an item because you’ve changed your mind, we will issue a credit note instead of a refund. This is subject to inspection of the returned item.
  • The cost of return postage for new and unopened items will be the responsibility of the buyer. 

 

Opened/Used Items

  • We cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or credit notes for items that have been opened or used.
  • If a buyer changes their mind after opening the product, the item cannot be refunded.

 


III. Return Procedure

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us at hello@editioncosmetics.com with your order number and reason for return.
  2. Await confirmation and further instructions on where to send the item.
  3. Ensure all returns are sent via a tracked delivery service to avoid any issues with lost packages.

Please note: Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged.

 


IV. Inspection Process

All returned items are subject to inspection to verify their condition.

  • If the item passes inspection, we will proceed with the appropriate resolution (exchange, refund, or credit note).
  • If the item does not pass inspection (e.g., it has been opened, product has marks on it and signs of wear, it is used, damaged by the customer, or not in original packaging), we will contact you to discuss further steps.
  • Items that do not pass inspection will be returned to the buyer at their expense.

 


V. Refunds

Refunds are processed as follows:

  • For unopened/unused items: Refunds will be issued within 30 days of inspection clearance.
  • For damaged goods: Refunds will be issued within 30 days after inspection confirms the damages.
  • Store credit will be issued via email. Refunds will be applied to your original method of payment.

 


VI. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund after the specified time, please:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank.
  3. If the issue persists, contact us at hello@editioncosmetics.com for further assistance.

 


VII. Shipping Costs

  • Buyers are responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective or damaged product.
  • For all item returns, we recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item without tracking.
